first_aid_bagWhen We Are Closed

Between 6pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and 6pm Friday to 8am Monday, the surgery is closed. In order to obtain medical advice at these times contact:

Out of Hours Service: NHS 24 on 111

www.nhs24.com

A receptionist in the emergency call centre will answer your call. Please note that out of hours cover is not a "walk-in service". You must call NHS 24 for advice first.

In Emergencies

In life-threatening emergencies, such as severe bleeding, collapse, unconsciousness or severe chest pain, telephone "999" for an ambulance.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0345 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
